The Kartboy front and rear shifter "stay" bushings are a great, inexpensive way to reduce the slop in the stock shift linkage.
In this picture you can see the front bushing (25) and rear bushing (23) and how they are mounted.
The "stay" (22) acts as the lower pivot for the shift lever (6) and the rod (18). With the stock rubber bushings the stay is able to move very easily which makes shifts feel sloppy and imprecise. With hardened Kartboy bushings the pivot is much more stable and shift feel improves drastically.
I would put this, in conjunction with a Group.N mount and STS, at the top of my list of "must do mods".
